Cultiva Law: GOAT

When it comes to Cannabis Law, Cultiva Law continues to be the leader of the pack. Just this month, Cultiva Law was featured in Ganjapenuer, interviewing Aaron Pelley. Fabiola Jimenez was quoted last month in Hemp Industry Daily and MJ Biz Daily regarding hot topics in the cannabis industry. MJ Brands & Insights spoke with Chris Girard on his take for predictions in 2022. Katia Alcantar was awarded a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2022. Both Ted Bernhard and Veronica Darling were named Elite Lawyers. Aaron Pelley was named Top 100 Litigators by the Trial Lawyers College for the seventh year in a row. Fabiola Jimenez was named in the Influential People of Color in Cannabis, by MG Retail Magazine. Several of the attorneys in Cultiva Law made the Global Top 200 Cannabis Lawyers (published by the Cannabis Law Journal), including Ted Bernhard, Mio Asami, Veronica Darling, Karen Albence, Katia Alcantar, Fabiola Jimenez and Aaron Pelley. We also provided Continuing Legal Education Seminars for the Federal Bar Association (featuring Aaron Pelley and Fabiola Jimenez) and Pro Law CLE on 280E and taxes (with Ken Ford).

If Podcasts are your jam, we personally challenge you to find a funnier and more entertaining show about law than Cultivating Conversations. Featuring special guests and hot topics, this podcast is an academic and irreverent look at the cannabis industry with Fabiola Jimenez and Mio Asami.  And, as always, Cultiva Law continues to provide you the latest news and educational posts on the Cultiva Law Blog. Latest posts includes a deep dive on a Washington County Ordinance by Kamran Farkhondepay Aryah. There is also a post by Ken Ford that takes a look at the often hypocritical standards for endorsements in college athletics. This, along with all the virtual and in-person conferences and parties, has turned out to be a challenging but rewarding year of serving our clients and making waves.
