Tara Griner is a seasoned litigation, transactional and securities paralegal, with a legal career spanning over a decade. Spending her early years working in a high-volume litigation defense firm, she learned quickly how to manage the legal landscape.
She began her post-college career as an editor for a major comic book publishing house and since that time has worn many hats. Through her undergraduate education, double majoring in English Literature and Mass Communication, and later obtaining her post-secondary degree in Paralegal studies she has always had a passion for the cannabis industry. Tara has participated in the industry on many different levels, working closely with farmers and in her college years as a volunteer representative for NORMAL, educating the public on the importance of legalization.
Tara is a native New Yorker but has called the Pacific Northwest home for over 15 years. In her role as Paralegal and Administrator for the Portland office, she brings her quick wit, ability to multitask, level-headedness, and problem-solving abilities to the firm and our clients.
When not at Cultiva, Tara is a professional bartender working for a historic hotel in the Portland area and likes to bring her skills to office parties. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved tiny office dog Moose.
